USACreative Capital Award 2027 Open Call
Creative Capital Award and State of the Art Prize provide funding for individual artists in the U.S. to create groundbreaking new works in Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Film, and Literature. The Creative Capital Award provides $15,000–$50,000 plus professional development, while the State of the Art Prize provides $10,000 to one artist per U.S. state and territory. Both awards are granted via one application through a competitive national, multi-round external review process.

Open to individual artists (age 25+) and collaboratives (up to 5 members) residing in U.S. states and territories who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, Tribal ID holders, or O-1 visa holders, with at least 5 years of professional practice.
