UKBattery Innovation Programme: Battery skills initiatives
UK registered organisations can apply for up to £3.7 million to establish or scale regional skills initiatives for battery manufacturing and its supply chain. The funding is available for academic institutions, RTOs, charities, and public sector organizations. Two themes: Establish (create new regional training initiatives at level 2-3 qualifications) and Scale (scale existing or create new commercially sustainable programs at level 2-5). Projects must start by 1 December 2026 and end by 30 November 2029.
