UKSmart Grants
Innovate UK Smart Grants support UK businesses to develop disruptive innovation projects with commercial potential. The programme funds game-changing ideas that demonstrate significant potential for rapid economic return, growth, and market share. From January 2025, Innovate UK paused Smart Grants to develop tailored support, with a new pilot launching in spring 2025. The programme previously distributed up to £25 million across multiple funding rounds per year to innovative projects across any technology area.
