Social and Affordable Homes Programme (SAHP) 2026 to 2036

The Social and Affordable Homes Programme (SAHP) 2026-2036 is a £39 billion government initiative to deliver approximately 300,000 new social and affordable homes across England over ten years. Managed by Homes England for delivery outside London, the programme requires at least 60% of funded homes to be for Social Rent. Applicants must be qualified Investment Partners or obtain qualification concurrently with their funding bid.

Open to Registered Providers of Social Housing (including private registered providers and council housebuilders), local authorities, housebuilders, developers, charities, and community-led organisations. Applicants must be qualified Investment Partners with Homes England and have appropriate regulatory ratings.
