Creative Europe Programme (European Commission)

This action supports the wider distribution of recent non-national European films by encouraging sales agents and theatrical distributors to invest in promotion and adequate distribution. It covers pan-European theatrical and/or online distribution strategies for non-national European films.

Berechtigungskriterie

Applicants must be legal entities (public or private bodies).
Applicants must be established in one of the Creative Europe Participating Countries, including EU Member States and non-EU countries listed as EEA countries or associated to the Creative Europe Programme.
Applicants must be owned directly or indirectly, wholly or by majority participation, by nationals from such countries.
Applicants must be a European sales agent, acting as an intermediary agent for the producer specializing in commercial exploitation of a film.
The applicant must be directly appointed by the producer of the submitted film by an international sales agreement providing for the right to sell the film in at least 15 countries participating in the MEDIA strand.
