Pathways to Enable Secure Open-Source Ecosystems (PESOSE) | NSF 26-506
Supports planning, building and securing sustainable open-source ecosystems that translate research tools into widely used, resilient technologies. These efforts aim to strengthen U.S. innovation, economic competitiveness and national security. Program has three tracks: Track 1 (scope and plan an OSE, $300k max), Track 2 (establish/expand an OSE, $1.5M max), Track 3 (improve safety, security, and privacy of existing OSE, $1.5M max).

Open to U.S.-based for-profit organizations, non-profit/non-academic organizations, federal agencies/FFRDCs, state and local governments, accredited U.S. Institutions of Higher Education, and federally recognized Tribal Nations.
