The Artist Prize

A £30,000 open art prize for any UK-based artist aged 18 or over, with no nominations or gatekeepers. The winner receives £30,000 and a solo exhibition at Firstsite in 2028, while shortlisted and longlisted artists gain exhibition opportunities and recognition. Entry fees are tiered by submission date, with a deadline of midday on 8 July 2026.

Wer cha sich bewerbe

Any UK-based artist aged 18 or over, regardless of career stage, location, background, or representation. Work must be created within the last two years of the submission deadline (on or after 8 July 2024).
