
Grants for Arts Projects (FY27 July Deadline Cycle)
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Grants for Arts Projects (GAP) is the principal grants programme providing project-based funding for organizations across diverse arts disciplines including Arts Education, Dance, Design, Folk & Traditional Arts, Literary Arts, Local Arts Agencies, Museums, Music, Opera, Presenting & Multidisciplinary Works, Theater & Musical Theater, Visual & Media Arts, Challenge America, and Our Town. The July Deadline Cycle supports projects taking place in 2027. The programme requires a 1:1 cost share/match and uses a two-part application process: Part 1 via Grants.gov and Part 2 via the NEA Applicant Portal.

Open to U.S. nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations, units of state/local government, federally recognized tribal communities, and public/state institutions of higher education with demonstrated arts programming experience and minimum $20,000 operating budget.
