Semiconductors and Components for Smart Electronic Platforms

Innovate UK grant competition investing up to £18.5 million for collaborative Research & Development (CR&D) or R&D projects focused on developing reusable semiconductors and novel components (e.g., integrated sensors, secure processors, AI hardware accelerators, actuator drivers, power management) for Smart Electronic Platforms used in industrial and tactical edge automation. Projects must demonstrate clear path to market, technical reusability/integration, and strong USP. A portfolio approach balances technology, maturity, and risk.

Wer kann sich bewerben

Open to UK-registered businesses. Solo applicants must be SMEs. Collaborations must include at least one UK-registered SME. Academic partners must apply via a separate competition. All work must be carried out and exploited from/in the UK.
