The Alfred Fagon Award 2026 is an annual prize for Black British playwrights of Caribbean and/or African heritage, offering a £6,000 cash prize and a development opportunity. It recognises an outstanding new stage play that has received a production or rehearsed reading in the UK, or one that has been commissioned and is awaiting production.
