Artist in the Community Scheme

The Artist in the Community (AIC) Scheme, managed by Create and funded by the Arts Council, supports collaborative arts projects between professional artists and communities of place and/or interest. The scheme offers Research and Development Awards (with or without mentoring), Recent Graduate Research and Development Awards, Project Realisation Awards (up to €15,000), and Bursary Awards. It is designed for artists working in social and community contexts, with strategic priorities around meaningful collaboration, capacity building, and supporting artists from marginalized or minority backgrounds.

Wer kann sich bewerben

Open to professional artists and organisations working with communities of place and/or interest in Ireland. Recent Graduate awards are for those who graduated from an undergraduate arts degree within the last three years and are not in postgraduate studies.
