Wer kann sich bewerben

Researchers of any nationality with 7–12 years of post-PhD experience who wish to consolidate their independence by establishing or strengthening a research team in Europe. The host institution must be in an EU Member State or Associated Country.

Principal Investigators (PIs) of any nationality are eligible to apply
Applicants must have 7–12 years of experience since the date of their successful PhD defence
Eligibility windows can be extended for life events such as parental leave, illness, or national service
The project must be hosted by a public or private institution located in an EU Member State or Associated Country
Researchers must submit a single application as the sole PI (no joint proposals)
Applications are evaluated based on scientific excellence of the proposal and the PI's track record of great promise
