Visegrad Fund

Visegrad scholarships support Master's and post-Master's students and researchers in all disciplines for up to two semesters at more than 190 accredited higher-education institutions across Central and Eastern Europe. The program provides €3,500 per semester for the scholar and €2,000 per semester for the host institution.

Wer kann sich bewerben

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and be citizens of V4 countries (Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) or of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Serbia, Ukraine. The country of citizenship must differ from the host institution's country.

Eignungskriterien

PhD candidates as well as doctoral and postdoctoral scholars are eligible to apply.
Eligible candidates: Visegrad–Taiwan Scholarships offer funding for PhD candidates (early-stage researchers), and doctoral and postdoctoral scholars (experienced researchers) to study/conduct research in Taiwan.
Citizens of the V4 countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia).
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Citizenship of V4 countries (CZ, HU, PL, SK) or eligible EaP/WB countries (AL, AM, AZ, BY, BA, GE, XK, MD, ME, MK, RS, UA).
Country of citizenship must differ from the host institution's country.
Distance between applicant's current employer/university or permanent residence and host institution must exceed 150 km.
Preference given to applicants not previously supported and to those with study/research topics relevant to the V4 region.
