European mini-slate development

Support for independent European production companies capable of developing a slate of 2–3 audiovisual works in the genres of fiction, animation and creative documentary. Applicants may add a short film by an emerging talent to their slate. The funding aims to increase competitiveness of companies from countries with low audiovisual capacity, including Ukraine.

Who can apply

Independent European audiovisual production companies established in countries with low audiovisual capacity (LCC Group A or B) participating fully in the MEDIA strand, including Ukraine, that have produced at least one internationally distributed work since 2019.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must be independent European audiovisual production companies established in countries with low audiovisual capacity (LCC Group A or B) participating fully in the MEDIA strand.
Applicants must have produced at least one previous work since 2019 that is animation, fiction or creative documentary of minimum 24 minutes (or non-linear formats), commercially released in at least three countries other than that of the applicant.
Legal entities (public or private bodies) established in eligible countries: EU Member States, listed EEA countries, and countries associated to the Creative Europe Programme.
Applicants who have received funding under CREA-MEDIA-2025-DEVSLATE or CREA-MEDIA-2025-DEVMINISLATE are not eligible.
Only one application per applicant is allowed.
