Eligibility criteria

Researchers must hold a PhD at the call deadline
Maximum of 8 years of full-time equivalent research experience post-PhD (career breaks excluded)
Mobility rule: researchers must not have resided or worked in the host country for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately preceding the deadline
Applications must be joint submissions between the researcher and a host organization
Host organizations must be based in EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries
Global Fellowships restricted to EU nationals or long-term residents of EU/Associated Countries
Resubmission restriction: proposals scoring below 80% in the 2025 call are ineligible for 2026
All research domains are eligible (bottom-up approach)
