Berlin Prize
The Berlin Prize is a fellowship from the American Academy in Berlin awarded annually to roughly two dozen scholars and artists for semester-long residencies at the Hans Arnhold Center. Fellows receive monthly stipends, accommodation, airfare, and board, and engage in transatlantic dialogue through public presentations.
Who can apply
Open to scholars and practitioners in the arts, humanities, social sciences, law, journalism, and public policy. Visual artists and composers are invited via separate nomination-based competitions. Mathematics and natural sciences are not accepted.Perks & benefits
