IndiaCore Research Grant (CRG)
The Core Research Grant (CRG) scheme provides core research support to researchers to undertake research and development in frontier areas of Science and Engineering. It funds projects for up to three years, covering equipment, manpower, consumables, travel, contingency, and overhead charges. Only Indian citizens, OCI, and NRIs holding regular academic/research positions in recognized Indian institutions are eligible. Proposals must be original and undergo plagiarism checks. Grantees must also commit to Scientific Social Responsibility (SSR) activities.
Who can apply
Open to Indian citizens, OCI, and NRIs with a Ph.D. or equivalent degree holding regular academic/research positions at recognized Indian institutions. INSPIRE, Ramanujan, and Ramalingaswamy fellows with sufficient tenure remaining are eligible. Research Associates and consultants are not eligible.Perks & benefits
