Who can apply

Open to startups, SMEs, spin-offs, research organizations and small consortia (2-5 entities) from EU member states and associated countries that have previously received funding from EIC Pathfinder, ERC Proof of Concept or Horizon Europe projects. Entities from the United Kingdom are also eligible.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must build on results from specific EU-funded projects: EIC Pathfinder, FET-Open/Proactive, ERC Proof of Concept, Horizon Europe/2020 Research and Innovation Actions, or certain EDF projects
Starting TRL must be TRL 3 (accomplished) to TRL 4 at submission; target output is TRL 5/6
Single entities: SMEs, start-ups, spin-offs, or research performing organisations; larger companies are not eligible as sole applicants
Consortia: 2 to 5 independent legal entities from different EU Member States or Associated Countries
UK entities funded via the UK Horizon Europe Guarantee are ineligible regardless of ERC PoC status
Applicants must provide reference to the linked project that generated the results (via Horizon Results Platform, Innovation Radar, CORDIS, or periodic reporting)
Applicants must be SMEs, start-ups, spin-offs, research organisations, or universities
Proposals must build on results from previously funded EU projects: EIC Pathfinder, ERC Proof of Concept, Horizon 2020/Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Actions, or Research Infrastructures
