Enterprise Development Grant (EDG)
The Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) supports Singapore-registered companies in upgrading business foundations, innovating processes, or expanding overseas. The grant provides funding for individual projects, covering costs such as third-party consultancy fees, software, equipment, and internal manpower. Projects must fall under one of three pillars: Core Capabilities (business strategy, financial management, HR, service excellence, branding/marketing), Innovation & Productivity (automation, process redesign, product development), or Market Access (pilot projects, test bedding, standards adoption). Support levels are up to 50% of eligible costs for SMEs and 30% for non-SMEs; sustainability-related projects may receive up to 70% support. The programme is scheduled to be refreshed/replaced by "EDGE" in 2H 2026.
Who can apply
Singapore-registered businesses with at least 30% local shareholding that are looking to upgrade business capabilities, innovate, or expand internationally. Applicants must demonstrate financial readiness and have not commenced the project prior to application.Perks & benefits
