Eligibility criteria

Research must be grounded in robust preliminary data
Projects can include Social Sciences and Humanities but not as the primary focus
Projects lacking preliminary data should consider the Exploratory Interdisciplinary Synergy Programme instead
Eligibility spans from PhD students and postdoctoral fellows to established research leaders (Professors/Associate Professors) and clinically active doctors/nurses
Research must align with NNF’s strategic focus areas of Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, and Natural and Technical Sciences, with applicability in health or sustainability.
Social Sciences and Humanities can be an element of the proposal but cannot be the primary drive.
Applicants that already have preliminary data are encouraged to consider the full Interdisciplinary Synergy Programme.
