The FRTEP seeks to continue the Land-grant mission of providing education and research-based knowledge to those who might not otherwise receive it. The program provides funding for Extension programs that address the unique needs of Tribal communities, aiming to improve quality of life and economic well-being on Tribal lands through informal education and outreach.
