EUFEMS Industry Placement Grant
FEMS Industry Placement Grants support early career scientists to gain research experience in industry by providing funding for placements at European host industries. The grant covers travel, accommodation, and subsistence costs for 1-3 month placements in any industry (including non-laboratory roles) relevant to microbiology. Applications are assessed twice yearly.
Who can apply
Early career microbiologists (PhD students or those who obtained their PhD within the last 5 years) who are members of a FEMS Member Society. The placement must take place at a European host industry.Perks & benefits
