GP Professional Development (CPD) Grant

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Training Hub (CPTH)

A grant programme supporting GPs in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough to pursue accredited postgraduate courses that develop special interests and enhance patient care within NHS General Practice. Provides reimbursement of up to 75% of course fees, capped at £3,000, paid in two instalments across the course duration.

Who can apply

GPs actively working in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough with minimum session requirements (3/week for salaried, 13/month for locums). Those who received Training Hub development funding in the previous 24 months are ineligible.

Eligibility criteria

Must be a GP actively working in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough
Salaried GPs must work a minimum of 3 clinical sessions per week
Locum GPs must provide an average of 13+ clinical sessions per calendar month over the preceding 3 months
Applicants must not have received Training Hub development funding (Leadership, Mid-career, QIP, Dermatology, DFSRH grants) within the previous 24 months
Supporting Future Educator grants and NHSE Fellowship study budgets are exempt from the 24-month exclusion
One CPD grant per 24-month period only
Courses must not have commenced prior to application
Co-funding from other sources must be declared and will be deducted from the eligible support amount
