Knowledge Interchange & Collaboration (KIC)

Knowledge Interchange & Collaboration (KIC) grants support the internationalization of South African research through knowledge exchange and collaborative activities including travel and symposium participation. Applicants must have at least a Master's degree. Calls are issued once a year, though may open twice annually subject to funding availability.

Who can apply

South African researchers with at least a Master's degree, employed at higher education institutions, who have not received other NRF travel funding.
