Morland African Writing Scholarships 2026
The Miles Morland Foundation offers the Morland African Writing Scholarships to provide financial freedom for African writers to complete a book-length work of fiction or non-fiction in English. Four scholarships are awarded annually, with submissions open from 1st July to 22nd September 2026 and winners announced in November.
Who can apply
Anyone writing in English who was born in Africa, or both of whose parents were born in Africa.Perks & benefits
