Official Call for Films - L'Alternativa 2026
L'Alternativa, 33rd Barcelona Independent Film Festival, accepts feature and short films, fiction and nonfiction, from Spain and worldwide. The festival will take place from 12 to 22 November 2026 as a hybrid event.
Who can apply
All films must have been completed after 1 January 2025. Preview copies must include English subtitles unless the film has English, Spanish, or Catalan dialogue or text.Sources
