Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grants
The Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grants program provides one-time grants of up to $3,000 to professional dancers facing dire financial emergencies due to the loss or lack of recent/current live performance work, because of circumstances outside of their control. This grant program aims to provide dancers with greater stability to move forward by covering up to three months of essential expenses.
Who can apply
Individual: must be 21+, reside in US/DC/Tribal Nation/US Territory, income ≤$80k (individual)/$160k (joint), not received this grant before, not in degree program, demonstrate current professional dancer status. Artistic: been a paid live performer for ≥5 years (since 2021) in stage/performance styles including aerial, ballet, hip-hop, jazz, modern, tap, traditional/folk. Emergency: dire financial emergency for essentials like housing, medicine, utilities, food.Sources
