Eligibility criteria

Applicants must be small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with fewer than 500 global, full-time employees
Applicants must have operations in Ontario and carry out their project in Ontario
Projects must have at least one eligible partner (SME, NE, MNE, academic institution, municipality, Indigenous community, not-for-profit, Crown corporation, or transit authority)
Projects must be at Technology Readiness Level 3-9 (advancing towards commercialization)
Program is not intended to prove feasibility or conduct basic technology research
Eligible projects MUST include demonstration of actual products that can be showcased in Ontario
All funds must be matched by a minimum 2:1 contribution from applicants and/or private sector partners
