SUSI (Student Universal Support Ireland)

Maintenance and fee grants for qualifying students in full-time higher education in Ireland. Open for new 2026/27 applications from 1 April 2026, with a priority deadline of 9 July 2026. Provides fee contribution and maintenance support based on household income and other criteria.

Who can apply

Citizen of Ireland, UK, EU/EEA/Switzerland. Resident in Ireland or those countries for at least 3 of the last 5 years. Income below household income thresholds. Must be on an approved full-time course and progressing from previous studies.
