Weave – FWO as Partner Agency (F.R.S.-FNRS Lead, Flemish-Walloon collaboration)

The Weave grant funds fundamental research collaborations between Flanders (FWO) and French-speaking Belgium (F.R.S.-FNRS), requiring 2-3 research teams across 2-3 European countries with a maximum budget of €145,000 per institution per year (and equipment up to €150,000 per project) over four years. A Flemish researcher leads the proposal at FNRS, while the FWO Flemish supervisor submits an administrative form to FWO's E-portal within seven calendar days of the FNRS deadline.
