Youth Empowerment Fund 2026

The Youth Empowerment Fund (YEF) is a partnership between the European Union and the Global Youth Mobilization (GYM), an initiative of the "Big Six" youth organizations. It provides grants ranging from €500 to €5,000 to support youth-led projects that address community challenges aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Priority is given to initiatives supporting marginalized and under-represented communities, including disability inclusion, gender barriers, socioeconomic inequality, and climate action.

Who can apply

Young people aged 14-30 from eligible countries (primarily Global South) can apply as individuals, informal groups, or registered youth-led organizations for grants of €500-€5,000 to implement youth-led SDG-aligned projects.
