How it works

Set up once, work on the funder's form, submit when you're ready.

  1. Set up your profile

Add your organisation type, sector, and what you're trying to fund. Upload the documents you already use for bids - we keep them on hand for later applications.

    • Charity, startup, research body, student, or individual
    • Sector tags and geography to narrow the search
    • Pitch decks, plans, CVs - stored for drafting
  2. Open the funder's application

Apply takes you to the organiser's website, not a copy of the form inside GrantGunner. Install the Chrome or Firefox extension if you want the sidebar on that page.

    • Real portal URL, not a duplicate form in our app
    • Extension runs beside the form you're filling in
    • Pipeline tracks each grant from first look to submitted
  3. Draft from what you've uploaded

Extract the questions from the page, get suggested answers from your profile and files, then edit before anything goes into a field.

    • Questions pulled from the live application
    • Suggestions field by field - paste or load when you're happy
    • Edits sync back so your pipeline stays up to date
  4. Submit on their site

When the application reads right, submit on the funder's portal. GrantGunner keeps deadlines, reminders, and applied dates in your calendar and pipeline.

    • You click submit - we don't send applications for you
    • Reminders before close dates if you want them
    • Calendar for openings, deadlines, and what you've applied for

What GrantGunner does for you

Discovery, drafting on the real portal, and deadlines - without losing control of your applications.

Chrome & Firefox extensions

Work on the funder's real application page: extract questions, draft from your profile, and load answers into the form you're already filling in.

Precision matching

Filters against your profile so you focus on grants that genuinely fit - less noise, more time on applications you can win.

Contextual drafting

Uses your uploaded documents and past answers to draft responses that match each funder's questions and character limits.

You stay in control

Review every field, change the wording, and submit on the portal yourself. We help you draft - we don't auto-submit for you.

Pipeline & calendar

Track every opportunity, deadline, and submit reminder in one dashboard - never lose a funding window.

Opportunity scouting

GrantGunner searches government portals, foundations, and sector directories - surfacing funding you would struggle to monitor manually.

Common questions

What types of organisations can use GrantGunner?

Charities, startups, research institutions, social enterprises, sports clubs, and individual applicants. Your onboarding profile shapes which opportunities we surface and how drafts are written.

What documents should I upload?

Anything you use in applications: pitch decks, annual reports, impact statements, CVs, or past successful bids. The more context you give, the smarter your drafts - not more generic.

Which browsers are supported?

GrantGunner has Chrome and Firefox extensions. Install from your account, sign in, open a grant application on the funder's site, and use the sidebar to extract questions and draft answers.

Does GrantGunner submit applications for me?

You submit on the funder's portal yourself. We help you find opportunities, draft on the real form, and track deadlines - you stay accountable for every answer that goes in.

How does the opportunity calendar work?

Matched opportunities, deadlines, submit reminders, and applied dates appear in your calendar. Reminders help you finish before a window closes without auto-submitting on your behalf.

Is my organisation data kept private?

Your profile and documents are used to draft and match for your organisation only. They are not shared with other users or used to train public AI models.
