USAState of the Art Prize
The State of the Art Prize is a Creative Capital initiative providing $10,000 unrestricted grants to one individual artist in every U.S. state and territory (including Guam, Puerto Rico, and Washington D.C.). Selected artists demonstrate bold, innovative, and original work that pushes artistic boundaries. Applicants are automatically considered for this prize through the same application process as the Creative Capital Award.
Quién puede solicitar
Individual professional artists who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, O-1 visa holders, or Tribal ID holders, aged 25+ with 5+ years of professional practice. Artists working in Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Film, and Literature are eligible, including multidisciplinary, technology-focused, and socially engaged projects.Beneficios y ventajas
