EIC Pathfinder Challenge: Biotechnology for Healthy Ageing 2026

The EIC Pathfinder Challenge: Biotechnology for Healthy Ageing 2026 funds early-stage, deep-tech research to translate ageing research into tangible biopharmaceutical solutions. Projects must target fundamental molecular/cellular ageing mechanisms rather than treating individual diseases. Three target areas: innovative preventative/therapeutic biotech interventions for age-related diseases, biomarker-based tools for deploying ageing interventions responsibly, and New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) for healthy ageing development. Funding up to €4 million per project with access to Business Acceleration Services. Portfolio-based evaluation - proposals assessed on scientific merit and contribution to a balanced, complementary portfolio.
