Education Empowerment and Development Fund (EEDF)

The Education Empowerment and Development Fund (EEDF) Bursary supports high-potential students from disadvantaged backgrounds in South Africa, pursuing undergraduate studies in critical fields such as Engineering, IT, Accounting, and Finance at accredited institutions. The bursary covers tuition, accommodation, textbooks, meals, and in some cases a monthly allowance, with additional mentorship and support for selected students.

Quién puede solicitar

South African citizens or permanent residents aged 18–25, entering first or final year of undergraduate study in 2026-2027, with household income below R600,000, accepted/enrolled at NWU, UJ, UP, or Wits.
