Globalstars call with Taiwan 2026

Eureka

This joint R&D call invites consortia from Taiwan, Finland, Austria, Sweden, and the Netherlands to submit project proposals in high-tech areas such as semiconductors, photonics, AI, quantum technologies, digital health, telecommunications, space, and sustainability. Funding is provided by Eureka member national agencies and the call runs from 20 April to 15 September 2026.

Consortia must include at least two independent organisations, one for-profit company from Taiwan and one for-profit company from a participating Eureka member (Finland, Austria, Sweden, or the Netherlands). Projects must be collaborative, innovative, have a technological risk, benefit all partners, and have a civilian purpose. Maximum project duration is 36 months; no single organisation or economy can claim more than 70% of total eligible costs.

Criterios de elegibilidad

The consortium must include at least two independent organisations, one for-profit company from Taiwan and one for-profit company from one of the participating Eureka members.
The project must be directed at researching or developing an innovative product, process or service with the goal of commercialisation.
The product, process or service must be innovative, and there must be a technological risk involved for all involved partners.
The project must benefit all involved partners.
No individual organisation, or participating economy, can claim more than 70% of the total eligible costs of a joint project.
The project should have an obvious benefit and added value resulting from the technological cooperation between the participants.
A signed consortium agreement is required upon approval, before the actual start of the project.
The maximum duration of a project may not exceed 36 months.
