Medical scientific researchers can apply for a contribution of up to €10,000 to execute or develop sustainable and innovative activities or products that make knowledge sharing about medical scientific research between medical-scientific researchers possible. The KNAW Van Walree Fund is named after Ms Emilie M. van Walree and was established in 1987 with the aim of improving medical scientific research.

Scientific researchers who work in the medical, biomedical, or health sciences and who are affiliated with a university or research institute in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
