Miles Morland Foundation Writing Scholarships 2026
A prestigious programme designed to support talented African writers by providing them with the financial freedom to complete the first draft of a new book. The scholarship is intended for writers working in English whose work demonstrates exceptional literary merit. Each successful scholar receives a grant of £18,000, paid in monthly installments over twelve months.
Quién puede solicitar
Open to anyone writing in the English language who was born in Africa, or both of whose parents were born in Africa. Applicants must submit an excerpt from a published work of 2,000-5,000 words.
