Start Package Grants are designed to make Danish universities and research institutions more competitive when recruiting top researchers of any nationality. The 4-year grant provides up to DKK 10 million to support the establishment of an independent research group, covering positions from tenure track assistant professor to clinical chair professor. The grant aims to enhance researcher mobility across borders and from industry to university.

The candidate can be of any nationality.
The grant is for recruitment of top researchers to one of the following positions: tenure track assistant professor, associate professor, full professor, or clinical chair professor.
The research must be within medical sciences, life sciences, sustainability, or natural and technical sciences aligned with the Foundation's 2030 Strategy.
