US-Ireland R&D Partnership Programme (NIH Track)

A tri-partite collaborative research initiative across the USA, Republic of Ireland, and Northern Ireland, managed by NIH on the US side and coordinated by Research Ireland/HRB (RoI) and HSC R&D/DfE (NI) locally. The NIH Track supports health-related research requiring a PI from each jurisdiction. Proposals must demonstrate significant added value through collaboration exceeding what any single PI could achieve independently. The US partner leads the formal NIH submission. Funding ranges from €350,000 to €700,000 per award for up to 5 years.
