Agri-Food Investment Initiative

The Agri-Food Investment Initiative (AFII) is a £46 million scheme designed to enhance the economic performance and competitiveness of Northern Ireland's Agri-food sector. The initiative supports ambitious businesses to increase productivity through transformative capital investment. Funding is available for capital projects in the food and drink processing sectors including machinery, equipment, and computer software development. Both SMEs and large businesses engaged in processing Annex I products are eligible to apply.

Critères d'éligibilité

Northern Ireland-based agri-food and drink processors
Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and large businesses engaged in processing Annex I products
Must be an Invest NI client or undergo client onboarding/eligibility verification
Projects must aim to improve operational efficiency, increase competitiveness, boost capacity, encourage innovation, or support new product development
Small enterprises: minimum project spend of £300,000
Medium enterprises: minimum project spend of £1,000,000
Large enterprises: minimum project spend of £1,000,000
