Alexander von Humboldt Foundation: Hezekiah Wardwell Fellowship

Up to 10 fellowships for highly gifted young musicians and musicologists from Spain to finance further training or advanced academic studies at a music academy or conservatory in Germany, including academic supervision by recognised teachers or scholars. The fellowship covers 1 or 2 academic semesters with a monthly stipend of 1,000 EUR plus allowances.

Qui peut postuler

Spanish citizens, predominantly living in Spain or educated in Spain; completed a Bachelor's or comparable degree in music or musicology no more than 3 years ago; must have a binding agreement with a host institution in Germany before applying.

Critères d'éligibilité

Applications can be submitted up to 3 years after completion of the education in music or musicology.
The Humboldt Foundation expects candidates to contact a recognised academic in music/musicology in Germany before application and to make a binding agreement ensuring that there is a possibility of their acceptance as a higher-education student and/or their receipt of academic supervision.
Applicants should be proficient in German.
For a successful application, applicants must have Spanish citizenship, live in Spain or have completed their education in Spain.
Applicants must be Spanish citizens, must have been predominantly living in Spain or were educated in Spain.
Applicants must study or have studied music or musicology and are about to transition into a career.
Applicants must have completed their musical or musicological studies no more than three years ago.
Applicants must have made arrangements with a recognised music teacher or musicologist in Germany for a place to study or academic mentoring to be provided at her/his institution.
