ERC Plus Grant

The ERC Plus Grant supports outstanding researchers from around the world to conduct transformative, high-impact research projects that exceed the scope of standard ERC grants. It provides up to €7 million for projects ranging from four to seven years in duration.

Open to outstanding researchers at any career stage with bold, transformative research ideas. Research must be conducted at a Host Institution in an EU Member State or associated country.

Critères d'éligibilité

Open to researchers of any nationality or residence
Research must be conducted at a Host Institution in an EU Member State or associated country
Principal Investigators must commit at least 30% of working time to the project
At least 50% of working time must be spent in an EU/associated country
Lifetime limit of one ERC Plus Grant per researcher
Projects must exceed the scope of standard ERC grants
A two-stage application process applies: outline proposal followed by full proposal
Applicants cannot simultaneously apply for ERC Consolidator Grant and ERC Plus Grant in the same round
