Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario)

FedDev Ontario provides funding to businesses in southern Ontario to help them adopt new technologies, enhance productivity, and enter new markets. The program supports companies in building long-term competitiveness and economic growth through interest-free repayable contributions.

Qui peut postuler

For-profit businesses, co-operatives, and Indigenous-led businesses located and operating in southern Ontario with 5-500 full-time employees and incorporated for at least 3 years in Canada or Ontario.

Critères d'éligibilité

Must be a for-profit business, co-operative, or Indigenous-led business (First Nations, Métis, Inuit)
Must be located and operating in southern Ontario at the time of application
Must have between 5 and 500 full-time employees (FTEs)
Must be incorporated and registered to do business in Canada or Ontario for at least the past 3 years
Only one application per business is permitted at a time
Projects must be distinct and separate from any active FedDev Ontario projects
Projects typically span 1-3 years and cannot start before application submission
Basic research activities are strictly ineligible
