Open to scientists, innovators, and entrepreneurs at any career stage, with no restriction on age or nationality. Applicants are not required to have a PhD or come from an engineering background. Awards must be held at a UK-based university, research institute or company.

International applicants may apply via the Accelerated International Route and must relocate to the UK if successful.
Non-UK-based applicants must not currently have a substantive research or innovation presence in the UK.
Non-UK-based applicants must demonstrate why their proposed project warrants consideration on an accelerated timeframe.
Applicants are not required to have a PhD or come from an engineering background.
International applicants may apply
