The MSCA Choose Europe for Science 2027 is a pilot scheme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions designed to improve European research careers by helping academic and non-academic organisations recruit postdoctoral researchers with long-term professional perspectives. The initiative addresses precarity in the R&I sector and shifts toward brain gain by offering stable employment visions beyond the project duration. The programme supports mono-beneficiary projects where host organisations recruit at least 3 postdoctoral researchers, with a two-phase model: phase 1 (24-36 months) partially supported by EU funding, and phase 2 (24 months) fully funded by the beneficiary.

Qui peut postuler

Single organisations based in EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries that can recruit postdoctoral researchers. Organisations include higher education institutions, research institutions, private sector/SMEs, public sector, and NGOs/charities. Researchers must hold a PhD, meet mobility requirements, and not be permanently employed at the beneficiary.
