Second edition of Mexico's essay prize for visual arts criticism, organized by the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature (INBAL). Open to artists, curators, critics, researchers, and writers over 30 years old with permanent residence in Mexico; the winning essay receives 100,000 Mexican pesos.

Qui peut postuler

Open to Mexican and foreign artists, curators, critics, researchers, teachers, and essay writers with permanent residence in Mexico, aged 30 or older. Essays must be original, unpublished works written in Spanish or indigenous languages listed in the National Indigenous Languages Catalog. Submissions should address modern and contemporary art in Mexico.
