The Science and Technology Studies (STS) program (NSF 22-629) supports interdisciplinary research investigating the conceptual foundations, historical developments, and social contexts of STEM. The program funds research using historical, philosophical, and social scientific methods to investigate intellectual, material, or social facets of STEM and medicine.
