The SOPHIE (Southern Ontario Pharmaceutical & Health Innovation Ecosystem) program offers up to $100,000 in matching funds to Ontario-based, incorporated private life science companies to support collaborative projects with academic or hospital partners in the Hamilton, Ontario ecosystem. Funded by FedDev Ontario, the program helps firms at TRL 6 or above acquire clinical expertise, evidence, data, and support securing a first buyer to accelerate commercialization.
