A funding opportunity from the U.S. National Science Foundation to enable mid-career or later-stage researchers (Associate or Full Professor, or equivalent) to pursue a new avenue of research or inquiry, adopt empowering technologies, and expand or transition their research programs via a sabbatical or other means. The grant provides up to six months of salary support during the sabbatical phase followed by two years of research support.
